Origin
From Cali to Toronto — a universe in motion.
Skabaco was created by Andrés Luna in Cali, Colombia, around 2005, bringing together two cultural influences: Ska and Bacchus. From Ska came rhythm, movement and the energy to connect cultures. From Bacchus — the Roman figure associated with Dionysus — came theatre, artistic expression and collective celebration. What began as an original name later evolved into Skabaco Universe: a creative universe that brings human-directed ideas from the screen into the world through art, music, play, technology, style and purpose.
Born in Cali, Colombia, and built from Toronto, Canada, Skabaco is a bilingual creative universe connecting people and communities across the Americas.
