Accountable operator
Skabaco is an independent creative and social-impact initiative with its own brand identity. It is part of GreenIn Impact, a program and impact line of GREENIN COMPANY. GREENIN COMPANY, an Ontario sole proprietorship, operates this initial public informational site and is accountable for the practices described here.
What this policy covers
The current site is a public creative and informational experience. It has no visitor accounts, submissions, comments, newsletter, checkout, payments or open community features.
The site is available to people of all ages and is primarily created for ages 14 and older. Passive browsing does not require an age declaration, and Skabaco does not invite children under 14 to provide personal information.
Information processed now
When you visit, the hosting and delivery infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, and security or diagnostic records. Skabaco does not use these records for behavioural advertising or visitor profiling.
If you choose a language, the site stores that preference on your device. If you dismiss the language suggestion, it stores that choice on your device. These are first-party localStorage entries, not cookies. The application router also uses a first-party sessionStorage entry to restore navigation and scroll position during the current browser-tab session. Google Fonts receives ordinary network-request information when the browser requests the site’s typefaces.
If you email Skabaco, GREENIN COMPANY receives the address, message and any information you choose to include. Please do not send health information, precise location, school details, passwords, financial information or other sensitive material.
Why information is used
Technical information is processed to deliver pages and assets, maintain security, diagnose failures and keep the service reliable. Device-stored language choices are used only to remember your language experience.
Email information is used to understand and answer the message, handle a privacy or accessibility request, protect rights and safety, and keep a reasonable record where needed. Depending on the situation and location, processing may rely on consent, providing a requested service, legitimate operational needs or legal obligations.
Providers and cross-border processing
Hostinger provides the current hosting and delivery environment. Google supplies the externally hosted fonts. Email delivery depends on Google’s Gmail service. Those providers may process technical or message data in countries outside your own under their terms and safeguards.
Outbound social links open independent third-party services. Skabaco does not embed social feeds or tracking widgets on this site; the destination’s own privacy practices apply after you leave.
Retention and safeguards
GREENIN COMPANY keeps personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose, security, records and applicable legal obligations, then deletes or de-identifies it where appropriate. Provider-controlled technical records follow the provider’s operational settings and legal requirements.
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used in proportion to the current low-data service. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Email is not an emergency or confidential crisis channel; report a suspected privacy or security incident promptly at the contact below.
Your choices, rights and complaints
You may ask what personal information GREENIN COMPANY holds about you, and request access, correction or deletion, or withdraw consent where applicable. Rights and exceptions vary by location. Send the request from an address where identity can be reasonably verified and describe the request without including unnecessary sensitive information.
You may clear Skabaco localStorage and sessionStorage entries in your browser settings. Skabaco does not sell personal information and does not use behavioural advertising, cross-site tracking or profiling of minors. If a concern is not resolved, you may contact the privacy regulator that applies where you live.
Young people and future changes
Skabaco prioritizes young people’s best interests. It does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 14 at initial launch. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent information may contact Skabaco for review and appropriate deletion.
Accounts, submissions, community participation, commerce, analytics or other data-enabled features will require separate privacy, youth-safety, security and legal review, updated notices and owner authorization before activation. Material policy changes will be identified by a new date and version.
